The terrifying ominous tone of those first few notes really set the vibe for the entire expansion. Upon loading up the new title screen players were hit with this absolute mammoth of a track. Needless to say, the hype was at an all time high. We were getting new supers, new gear, new enemy types, and a new raid to conquer that was set in an all-new location. Post-apocalyptic space wizards with guns are cool, but they're nothing without a solid track to accompany them. The way the track swells throughout as the intensity of the boss fight ramps up was an amazing example of how much a great score can build tension perfectly, as well as setting a high standard for the soundtracks that would follow.ДЄnnie: I also heard this masterpiece in the beta for Destiny and it sold me on the game. This was the first epic musical number I ever heard in the game and because of that, it will always hold a spot close to my heart. Little did I know that for the next six years I would be utterly enamored with this beautiful universe Bungie has created.
